In the eyes of the world, China The rapid development of China and the popularity of Chinese products around the world is itself an incredible dream.

From ships, automobiles, factory equipment to buttons, straws, and pen refill, from raw materials to finished products, from daily applications to national defense and military industries, from the Olympic Games to the world, "made in china" can be seen everywhere, and Chinese products are all over the world. Some predict that without Chinese manufacturing, the price of industrial products on the international market could double, and there is no guarantee of supply.

By 2010, the scale of China's manufacturing industry had surpassed that of the United States, ranking first in the world. At present, China's industrial competitiveness index ranks seventh among 136 countries, and its net manufacturing exports rank first in the world. According to the international Standard Industrial Classification, China ranks one in seven out of 22 categories, and ranks first in the world in the output of more than 220 industrial products such as steel, cement and automobiles.

However, behind the brilliance of China's manufacturing industry is heavy effort, deformed structure and low returns.

"Low-end manufacturing, we have overcapacity problems, now can not compete with Southeast Asia and other countries; Despite the rapid development of high-end manufacturing, there is still a gap compared with developed countries such as Europe and the United States. Now China's industry is in the middle, squeezed from both ends." Speaking of Chinese manufacturing, Li Yizhong, a member of the CPPCC National Committee and former Minister of industry and Information Technology, believes that China is still in the middle and low end of the global value chain, although China has the world's advanced industries and fields, such as aerospace, high-speed rail, nuclear power, etc., but at the same time in some areas are still very backward, such as small mines and small workshops that are completely dependent on manual work.

After creating a fantastic miracle from small to large and from weak to strong, China's manufacturing is facing a new choice.

In recent years, the international set off a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation of the upsurge, developed countries to follow the trend, have thrown out the national strategy and plan to stimulate the growth of the real economy, hoping to regain the competitive advantage in the manufacturing industry through technological progress and industrial policy adjustment. The United States has formulated the "re-industrialization", "Manufacturing Renaissance" and "Advanced Manufacturing Partnership Plan", Germany has launched the "Industry 4.0", Japan has begun to implement the "revitalization strategy", South Korea has launched the "New impetus strategy", and France has also proposed the "New Industrial France" plan.

Lang Xianping, a famous economist, believes that as long as Industry 4.0 is rolled out globally, China's manufacturing industry will collapse and disintegrate. Here's what he had to say:

1, the consumer goods to the hands of consumers to go through the five fixed modules, namely raw materials, machinery and equipment, factory, transportation, sales, these five fixed links are inevitable, they form an assembly line.

2, Industry 1.0 is to promote mechanization through steam, industry 2.0 is to promote large-scale production by electricity, industry 3.0 is to promote automation by electronic information technology, industry 4.0 is called intelligent.

3, in the past, in the era of industry 1.0, 2.0 to 3.0, we must pass the five modules of raw materials, machinery and equipment, factories, transportation and sales, which are fixed links and indispensable.

In the era of Industry 4.0, there has been a shift, and these five modules have all come out and become five beating modules. Each module has its own software, its own sensors, and its own communication system.

What products consumers need, these five modules will be combined by themselves, that is, the same production line, in the past, only produced one product, now through the intelligent production of many different products, and according to the needs of consumers, the five modules themselves are efficiently integrated to meet the needs of consumers.

In the pre-industry 3.0 era, it took 21 days to produce a Harley locomotive, because its production process was all fixed and mechanized.

But to the era of industry 4.0, a customer at nine o 'clock in the morning to order a personal customized motorcycle, these five modules are all alive, according to the needs of customers, their own raw materials, their own factory to repackage and recombine, within six hours you can give the private customized motorcycle to customers.

4, in addition to the greatly shortened time, there is a great progress in intelligence, and the cost is basically reduced by 40%.

China's current manufacturing industry has been very difficult, the cost has been almost with the United States, if the United States to promote industry 4.0, the cost of another 40% down, we have no chance to compete.

Take Germany and the United Kingdom as an example, their costs are currently about 10% - 20% higher than ours, as long as the promotion of industry 4.0, their costs will be much lower than our China, then we China there is hope!

Therefore, as long as industry 4.0 is rolled out globally, China's manufacturing industry will collapse and disintegrate across the board, and we will not only have no cost advantage, but also a cost disadvantage. This is the core reason why I have been stressing the need to upgrade China's manufacturing industry and create "Made in China".
