Today, the 2020 Sino-German Automobile Conference is held in Changchun. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor Jing Junhai attended the main forum and delivered a speech, witnessing the signing of a memorandum of understanding on new energy vehicle cooperation between China FAW and Audi (China).

Jing Junhai, on behalf of Jilin Provincial Party Committee and provincial government, extended congratulations to the successful convening of the Sino-German Automobile Conference. He said that China and Germany are all-round strategic partners, and automobiles are an example of successful cooperation between the two sides. First, work together with the Emergency Bureau to open a new bureau, strengthen cooperation in new energy vehicles and other fields, build platforms and innovative models, and contribute to the development of China-Germany relations to a new level. The second is to join hands to seize opportunities along the trend, accelerate innovation synergy, industrial synergy, cross-border synergy, factor synergy, and ecological synergy, and promote the global automotive industry to rise against the trend. The third is to work together to promote win-win cooperation, focus on the construction of Changchun International Automobile City, help Jilin build a world-class auto vehicle and parts industry base, and create a strong engine for economic recovery and development. We will support the reform and development of the automobile industry, especially China FAW Group, in line with the trend of electrification, intelligence, network connectivity and sharing, accelerate the return of supporting facilities, capacity return, production scheduling return, settlement return, innovation return and talent return, continue to optimize the business environment, and create good conditions for enterprises to invest and develop in Jilin.

At the main forum, Mr. Liu Dianxun, Director General of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of China, Mr. Bi Mantian, Consul General of Germany in Shenyang, and Mr. Shi Mingde, President of the Sino-German Friendship Association, delivered speeches. German Mayor of Ingolstadt Salpf, China Consul General in Munich Zhang Yue, China FAW Group Chairman Xu Liuping, Germany Volkswagen Group Management board Chairman, CEO Diess, Audi AG Management Board Chairman, technology development and product line director Dussmann and other guests made keynote speeches.
