China announced that it will increase financial support for the Belt and Road Initiative, provide an additional 100 billion yuan to the Silk Road Fund, and encourage financial institutions to conduct overseas RMB fund business, with an estimated scale of about 300 billion yuan. To set up a 100 billion yuan investment fund for regional cooperation and development between China and Russia; The China Development Bank and the Export-Import Bank will provide special loans worth 250 billion yuan and 130 billion yuan respectively. In the coming three years, China will provide 60 billion yuan of assistance to developing countries and international organizations participating in the Belt and Road Initiative and build more projects to improve people's livelihood. China will provide 2 billion yuan of emergency food aid to developing countries along the Belt and Road, and add 1 billion US dollars to the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund. In addition to funding, China will also provide personnel training for countries along the Belt and Road and support various people-to-people exchanges.
