The National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) is composed of standards, metrology, certification and accreditation and inspection and testing. The standards provide the basis for measurement, certification and accreditation and inspection and testing. The certification and accreditation and inspection and testing determine whether the standards are met by measurement means. In 2016, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine launched the "common technology of national quality basis".
