Wow! I’m excited!! I bought brand new vacuum for 50% off from retail price. I was little scared because in descriptions was “open box” but when order was delivered, also very fast delivery and when I opened the box vacuum was brand new everything was in original plastic and vacuum was very clean and working perfectly! I had questions and reached out to the seller asking if the vacuum was in fact new even though it says it's open box. The seller quickly got back in touch and told me that the item is in fact open box but it has never been used and they made sure that I had good attachments and that the equipment worked. I am really impressed with the vacuum. We have a nice Robot vacuum but had no idea that it was not getting up as much dirt as a bigger vacuum could do. See the picture below from our rug.

Received in box and appears to be brand new. Vacuum works amazingly.. picked up even fine dust particles from the carpet. Even though it's a bit of a hand strain from having to keep the trigger held down for the vacuum to operate, I have the feeling I'll be breathing a lot better and sneezing less now. :) Good purchase!

    Operating and charging instructions available only on line.

    the unit came without instructions on how to charge the battery!!! :( The reason provided is that Dyson wants to be environmentally friendly by providing this critical information only on line! That's obnoxious considering the incredible amount of cardboard they use to package the vacuum and considering that they provided pages and pages in several languages about how to be safe. I never saw so much cardboard wasted on packaging such a small product. For the batteries, they warn about charging them correctly etc, etc, but rather than a few words as to how, they tell us to get that information online, which is a huge inconvenience.

The Dyson V11 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner was a tempting offer since it was at half-price. I have used it and I cannot believe the power this vacuum cleaner has to offer. To see the dust in the holder after using the vacuum cleaner is somewhat astonishing. You never knew that much dust and dirt was in your carpet and on your floor. Afterwards, I took the dust holder outside to the trash and emptied it. No more letting dust and dirt accumulate in a vacuum bag and stay in your home for six to nine months. The Dyson V11 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is a great buy for those of you who want to rid of using 1980s and 90s bulky vacuum bag cleaners. Easy assembly. Charge the battery ...

    Not so lightweight but does have great features.

    It does it's job, but it is a little heavy compared to others. It wasn't as easy to empty at first but then I got the hang of it.
