China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Food, soil and Livestock branch introduction

In order to realize the specialization of services, China Food, Soil and Livestock Import and Export Chamber of Commerce has 45 branches, including 37 commodity branches and 8 professional committees, covering a variety of bulk import and export of agricultural, forestry, food, soil and livestock commodities, concentrating most of the industry's leading enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises, is a veritable national organization.

The highest authority of the Commodity Branch is the general Assembly of the branch, and the board of Directors and the Board of supervisors are democratically elected. The chairman and chief supervisor of the branch are all influential enterprises in the industry, and the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce selects the secretary general for the branch. Each branch has established a decision-making mechanism and rules of procedure in accordance with the principle of "consultation, democratic participation and democratic decision-making". Major matters involving the overall interests of the industry need to be passed by democratic voting in accordance with the charter and rules of procedure of the branch, and the industry resolution is formed in accordance with the principle of minority obedience to the majority. The Branch Supervisory Board oversees implementation to ensure that decisions are in the interests of the industry and the vast majority of member companies.

Each commodity branch regularly convenes the council and the general assembly to analyze and study the development of the industry, formulate the development plan of the industry, and play the role of the industry, organize the member enterprises of the branch to jointly solve the problems affecting the development of the industry, formulate measures to promote the development of the industry, and achieve the common development of the industry.

The focus of the work of each commodity branch is to promote the technical progress of the industry, establish the quality and food health and safety guarantee system, promote the standardization, industrialization and intensive production of agricultural products, and improve the international competitiveness of China's agricultural products as a whole. Organize domestic and foreign market development work. Communicate and cooperate with foreign industry organizations on behalf of the industry, participate in international industry organization activities, and respond to foreign trade barriers on behalf of the whole industry.

The work of each commodity branch has played a positive role in protecting fair competition, improving enterprise efficiency, stabilizing and expanding the market, promoting the overall progress of the industry, and improving the operating efficiency of member enterprises. Due to the effective services of the commodity branch of the Chamber of Commerce, the health safety and quality level of many export agricultural products and food has been improved, the export market has been continuously expanded, and the export efficiency of member enterprises has been continuously improved.
