Uzbekistan spot network reported on March 15 that on the 13th, the Uzbek Cabinet issued measures to lift the export ban on vegetable oil and oilseeds, allowing the export of 50% domestic sunflower oil, 35% sunflower seeds, 17% other oilseeds and soybeans, and cancelled the export restrictions on other vegetable oils. In order to meet domestic demand and stabilize prices, from June 1, 2022, Uzbekistan suspended the export of cottonseed oil, sunflower oil and other vegetable oils, as well as sunflower seeds and other oilseeds.
