The main rules of the competition are the same as those of the individual competitions of ski jumping and cross-country skiing, with cross-country skiing all using free techniques.
Individual event
Individual events begin with ski jumping competitions based on the draw or points ranking order.
The score of the ski jump determines the starting order and interval of the cross-country skiing competition of the athletes. Every 1 point behind, the start is delayed by 4 seconds, and the ranking is arranged according to the order of reaching the end.
Team competition
In the team competition, each team has 4 players who wear red, green, yellow and blue bibs according to the order of appearance, which cannot be changed. The competition starts with ski jumping and ends with cross-country skiing.
Cross-country skiing held relay competition, the first athlete starting order and interval time determined by the total score of the ski jumping team, every 1 point behind, 1.33 seconds delayed start.
The second, third and fourth athletes wait in the relay area, and then start after the successful exchange. The order of the fourth athlete arriving at the finish line determines the ranking of each team, and the first one to win the championship.
