In September 2016, the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee held the "Beijing 2022 Design Forum", inviting professional design institutions and designers around the world to discuss the emblem and image landscape design, and announcing the collection methods and documents of the emblem at the same time.
On November 20, 2016, the emblem design of the Beijing Winter Paralympics officially began to accept submissions, and the submission deadline was November 30, 2016, and a total of 4,506 design proposals were received from 31 provincial administrative units in China and 13 countries outside China.
On December 16, 2016, the emblem expert review committee, in accordance with the emblem review procedures and rules, selected 10 shortlisted works after initial evaluation and re-evaluation Central Academy of Fine Arts The works designed by Lin Cunzhen, vice president of the School of Design, ranked first in the overall score.
