Born in Mangshi, Dehong Prefecture, in January 2005, Peng had never touched snow or ice before 2017. In April 2017, Peng Qingyue, a sixth grade student of Mangshi No. 4 Primary School, stood out in the Dehong Youth Sports School enrollment selection test and entered the track and field trial team.
In December 2018, Peng Qingyue participated in the cross-discipline selection of Yunnan Province, in January 2019, he was selected to train with the cross-discipline cross-discipline Ski Jumping National Assembled Team, and in September 2020, he became an official athlete of the ski jumping event of Yunnan Provincial Sports Work Group.

In October 2019, in the platform skiing competition of the 14th National Winter Games, Peng Qingyue, on behalf of Yunnan Team, won the seventh place of women's team middle platform and mixed team 45m platform.
