The selection of the main structure of the National Alpine Ski Center venue implements the design idea of prioritized assembly under the conditions of mountain construction, adopts prefabricated steel structure beam and column support, steel truss composite floor system, steel selection of low-temperature weathering steel, fully bolted connection. According to the special wind environment and climate conditions of the top of the mountain, the structural members were processed according to the full scale (1:1), and the design value of the most unfavorable load was taken to carry out the static loading experiment. In the trussed floor, free bottom formwork is used to ensure the construction progress. Detachable bottom formwork material is selected for outdoor eaves to achieve architectural effect. [21]
The upper section of the National Alpine Ski Center is located between the peak departure area and the middle platform, starting at the west side of the Xiaohaituo mountain beam, and then entering the larch forest on the north side of the mountain beam, this section makes full use of the natural terrain and shows the natural scenery of alpine meadows and woods. The piste turns south and straight down the ridge, with four jump points. From the middle platform to the finish area, the trail turns west from the ridge into the valley. The first half of the trail is a wide bowl-shaped valley with a width of 50 meters. The second half enters a narrow alpine canyon area with a width of only 15 meters, and the final jump point comes out of the fjord. The whole racing ski track from meadow to pine forest, from ridge to canyon, ups and downs, changes, fully demonstrates the thrill and excitement of alpine skiing, speed and passion, is one of the most difficult and challenging alpine skiing trails in the world.
