The National Snowmobile Sled Center covers a land area of 18.69 hectares, with a construction area of 52,500 square meters and a structure area of 21,500 square meters. The facilities on the center mainly include the starting area, operation area, end area and track. Based on the U-shaped groove that supports the track and houses the cooling head, the National Snowmobile Center connects the scattered starting and finishing areas together with the track as the core through the same slope roof. The track length is 1975 meters, the track is a long linear space hyperbolic panel shell structure, a total of 16 angles, different inclines are composed of corners, of which the 11th corner for the world's unique 360 degree roundabout.

National snowmobile Center end area
The main track of the National Snowmobile Center is 1,975 meters in length, and the track is a long-linear space hyperbolic panel shell structure. Relying on the natural mountain shape construction of Xiaohaituo Mountain at an altitude of 2,198 meters, it winds from north to south on the ridge on the west side of the entrance of the competition area, which is the first snowmobile sled track built in China. The topography of the building site is complex, with a height difference of about 150 meters from the high point on the north side to the low point on the south side, and an average natural slope of more than 16%. The track is divided into 54 refrigeration units, consisting of 16 corners with different angles and inclines, of which the 11th corner is the world's unique 360-degree roundabout. The highest point of the track is 1017 meters, located in the starting zone 1, and the lowest point is located at the bottom of the C16 corner, with an elevation of 896 meters and a maximum drop of 121 meters. The fastest sliding speed is 134.4 km/h, and the track has 3 starting areas with a total of 6 starting points.

The National Snowmobile Sled Center is based on a U-shaped trough that supports the track and houses the cooling main, and is covered by an awning made of V-shaped steel columns, wooden beams and roofing. The racetrack is designed as a complex three-dimensional curved surface. The track finds out the geometry of the track through the refrigeration tube fixed on the jig and the steel mesh together, and adopts the "millimeter" hyperbolic concrete injection and finishing molding technology to realize the one-time injection molding of the 1.9 km track to help the Beijing Winter Olympics. A insulation layer will be installed on the outside of the track, a 50mm thick ice surface will be poured on the inside of the track during winter competitions and training, and the ancillary rooms around the track will be arranged in an orderly manner according to the function.
With the track as the core, the National Snowmobile Center connects the scattered starting area, finishing area, refrigeration room, training track igloo, operations and logistics complex through the same slope roof. The outbuildings and awnings are complemented by the same form of V-shaped steel columns, the same material and construction of decorative gabion walls, shingles and exposed concrete, etc., to integrate the entire snowmobile sled center track with the venue. The contrast and echo of natural wood beams, wood shingles, stone cage walls and artificial aluminum panels, curtain walls and steel create an overall style that blends with the environment. The warm color of the shingles gradually calmed over time, making the building show the traces of time. The exterior walls of the building are made of conventional aluminum panels and doors and Windows, combined with resin panels of solid wood veneer, redesigned architectural decoration stone cage walls and wear-resistant concrete floors and exposed concrete, which constitute the shape and appearance of the building and form the national snowmobile sled center symbol.
