In the course design, in order to meet the extremely high requirements of slope and curve accuracy, the national biathlon center course is surveyed by the International Snow Federation experts on site, then measured and mapped, then surveyed again, and then modified. Considering the future needs of the venue as a training base in the summer, the core circle track is designed as an asphalt track, which can be converted into a roller skate track after the race for competition and summer training. The rest of the track is gravel, which can be converted to mountain biking or hiking trails after the race. [7]
The technical building of the National Biathlon Centre can also be converted during non-competition hours. The first floor of the building is dominated by the event service function; The second floor connects the platform of the same floor and the stand, and provides an elevated level. Temporary spectator service facilities can be set up during the game, and can be used as other functions after the game. The third and fourth floors are used for event management and technical services. The technical building stands for 2,000 permanent seats. Part of the partition wall in the building adopts a movable and removable lightweight partition wall system to facilitate the function transformation after the game. [5]
