Note: The pilot cadets recruited from local high school graduates first enter the basic Flight training Base of the Aviation University of the PLA Air Force (Changchun, Jilin) for a period of two years, and then transfer to the main headquarters of the PLA Army Aviation Academy for a period of one year of intensive aviation theory education and simulation flight training. Then transferred to the Chinese People's Liberation Army Aviation Academy flight training base under the several flight training regiments, for a period of 1 year trainer training, the total learning time is four years. College flight cadets, selected from military academies, enter the PLA Army Aviation Academy for two years. The main contents of learning and training are: aviation theory, parachute rescue, aviation sports, flight simulation training and flight driving technology. Aviation theory courses mainly include helicopter aerodynamics, helicopter flight mechanics, air navigation, aviation meteorology, helicopter structure, aviation turboshaft engine, etc. After a lifetime, the trainees are assigned to the Air Force and Army aviation units according to the helicopter types they have learned.
