Dispatching command system
Based on
Big Dipper
With satellite and geographic information system technology, the Beijing-Zhang high-speed Railway provides intelligent services for the whole process of construction, operation, scheduling, maintenance and emergency response. The real-time "physical examination" system of the line can connect every bridge, station and rail on the whole line to the computer through the sensor. Whether the parts are aging, whether the subgrade is settling, and whether the lighting is damaged can be clearly seen. In addition, high-speed railway perimeter intrusion alarm system, earthquake early warning system, natural disaster monitoring system, etc., will form the intelligent dispatching command system of EMU

China's first intelligent high-speed railway
As China's first intelligent high-speed railway, the quality supervision, supply and profile design of each rail of the Beijing-Zhang high-speed Railway also use big data and establish a "health file.
[45]
".
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed Railway project is the first intelligent high-speed railway in China with the self-developed Beidou satellite navigation system and a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is also the first high-speed railway in the world designed with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour in high cold and heavy wind and sand.
[108]
-
Focus on green design
The greening and landscape design of roadbed, bridge, tunnel and other related sites are carried out in the Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway, and the design of low inside and high outside is adopted along the line, so as to form a three-dimensional multi-layer green belt
[48]
.
-
The intelligent control center participated in the construction of Qinghuayuan tunnel
According to the geological conditions, the Qinghuayuan tunnel construction party jointly developed two mud-water balance shield machines. With the help of China's first intelligent control center of large shield, BIM technology, 3D visual monitoring, shield cloud platform command, automatic monitoring and measurement measures have been successfully applied to achieve intelligent simulation, accurate prediction, early warning and real-time correction. It overcomes the difficulties of the shield tunneling system, such as ultra-shallow starting and receiving and ultra-close passing through important structures
[56]
.
-
China's first closed sound barrier
The Beijing-Zhang high-speed Railway closed sound barrier is the first concrete frame structure closed sound barrier project in China, with a total length of 2.43 kilometers, mainly installed near Tsinghua University and its surrounding communities, and completed on May 21, 2019. In order to avoid environmental impacts such as ultraviolet light and acid corrosion and thus reduce maintenance costs, the enclosed sound barrier is constructed with cast-in-place concrete. In addition, the enclosed sound barrier absorbing wall incorporates elements of the old Beijing-Zhang Railway during the exterior decoration work, and the exterior uses gray bricks and arch Windows reflecting the style of the archway of Qinghuayuan Station

Qinghuayuan Tunnel:
Crossing through the densely populated area of Xueyuan South Road, Haidian District, when it was built, it was the national railway single-hole double-track, large-diameter shield tunnel and high-risk tunnel, which was located in the urban core area in China and passed through the most complex strata and the most important structures, and was the only tunnel constructed by shield method on the Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway line. Qinghuayuan Tunnel and Beijing subway line 10, 12, 13, 15 long distance parallel run or cross, through the North third ring road, North Fourth Ring road and other 7 major urban roads, 88 important municipal pipelines, through the special risk source 3, level 1 risk source 80
[56]
[90]
.
South Tunnel:
Located in Nankou Village, Changping District, it is the first through tunnel of the Beijing section of the Beijing-Zhang high-speed Railway, with a maximum depth of 340 meters. The line position is generally located on the east side of the Beijing-Zhang Railway, and the direction is basically the same, and the line crosses the mountain within the scope of Nankou Village and Donggarden village
[91]
.
Juyongguan Tunnel:
The maximum buried depth is 310 meters, the construction process includes shallow tunnel buried, through the fault fracture zone, the geological surrounding rock is poor, easy to rich water. The entrance section of the tunnel is dominated by IV and V grade surrounding rock, which is strongly weathered and has poor stability. In the process of construction, the project department has overcome the unfavorable geological conditions such as water gusher, cavity and frequent changes of surrounding rock, and adopted measures such as encrypting advance tunnel pipe for support, adding steel arch and shortening blasting footage to ensure the construction
[80]
.
New Badaling Tunnel:
It is a single tunnel with two lines and a total of 4 inclined Wells. It is located in a poor geological zone, and the surrounding rock conditions of the tunnel are poor, with risks such as water gusher and mud outburst. It is a very high risk tunnel, and it is the longest tunnel in the whole line of Beijing-Zhang high-speed Railway. The project department has overcome technical difficulties such as shallow tunnel burial, water gushing and long tunnel ventilation
[92]
.
Dongjiazhuang Tunnel:
The maximum buried depth is about 70 meters, and the shallowest is only 4 meters. The tunnel has large relief and steep mountain potential. Affected by various weathering and geological processes, sandstone joints and fissures develop and surrounding rock is broken. At the same time, the tunnel is a low-gas tunnel, the safety risk is large, the construction is difficult
[20]
.
Straw Hat Hill Tunnel:
For a single hole double line, through the main vein of the straw hat mountain, steep mountain, topography undulating. The geological conditions of the tunnel are complex. The bedrock of the tunnel is mainly Jurassic Upper tuff, which has complex genesis, poor diagenesis, varying degrees of weathering, small structure development and strong mutability. Tunnel address conditions are very poor, under the existing heavy railway, highway and other areas, the construction safety risk is very high.
When crossing the Beijing-Tibet Expressway and the Daqin Railway, the construction side of the Beijing-Zhang high-speed Railway independently developed the innovative construction method "Continuous beam pier top rotating construction".
The year 2021
On December 6, the Beijing-Zhang high-speed Railway was awarded the 2020-2021 National Quality Project Award
[100]
.
In November 2022, it was selected into the 2022 China New Era Top 100 Construction Traffic Engineering category.
[107]
In April 2023, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway project was selected as the winner of the first batch of the 20th China Civil Engineering Jeme Tianyou Award and won the special prize.

Review)
[96]
The construction of the Beijing-Zhangjia-Hebei high-speed railway will play an important role in promoting personnel exchanges between Northwest China and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and promoting the coordinated development of Northwest China and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
(People's Daily online review)
