In 1910, the Chinese Olympic Committee was founded.
It was recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1922.
In 1947, the former All-China Sports Association also discussed the issue of bidding for the 1952 Olympic Games.
In 1949, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, the All-China Sports Association was reorganized into the All-China Sports Federation.
