- International Green Certificate I-REC service platform

In order to serve the needs of green, low-carbon and sustainable development of enterprises, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products (hereinafter referred to as the Chamber) officially launched the International Green Certificate I-REC service platform (hereinafter referred to as the I-REC Service platform) based on the carbon neutral service platform in July 2023. The I-REC service platform is jointly built by the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Shanghai Qikun Technology Information Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Qikun Technology) and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Huayong (Special General Partnership) Beijing branch (Deloitte). It can provide relevant enterprises with stable, traceable, lowest environmental payment cost, in line with ESG audit standards and certified by audit institutions, I-REC international green certificate transaction services, to help enterprises solve the problem of carbon reduction in green transformation, and effectively build a green supply chain and sustainable development system.

The "Photovoltaic products carbon footprint public service platform" created by China Chamber of Commerce and Vision Group helps Chinese photovoltaic enterprises to complete the carbon footprint accounting of products with high quality, efficiency and low cost, and opens the certification body to complete the audit and certification, helping China's photovoltaic products effectively respond to international green trade barriers and expand exports.

In October 2021, the Chamber of Commerce established a Green and low-carbon International Cooperation Committee composed of 68 industry leaders in Beijing. In order to promote green low-carbon transformation, sustainable development and joint response to climate change in key industries at home and abroad, the Committee has assembled resources from professional service institutions around the world to build a one-stop carbon neutral service platform for member enterprises and relevant institutions through government-enterprise dialogue, industry exchanges, upstream and downstream docking, information sharing and financial cooperation. Specific services include capacity building, dual carbon comprehensive consulting, carbon asset management, product carbon labeling and carbon footprint certification, production and operation efficiency improvement, technology docking and industrial cooperation, digital economy, financial cooperation, carbon neutral toolbox and other 9 content.
