The information gathering initiative (IGI), which is currently the Center’s top priority, is a first step toward establishing more systematic connections and networks for enhancing collaborations among local and diaspora experts. The IGI initiative will seek to magnify social impact of diaspora experts’ contribution to Nepalese society by learning about where they are working across the world, by making their current contributions more visible and recognized, and by providing them new opportunities and connections.
