The palm kernel ejector or PKE is obtained from the oil extracted from the palm kernel and is mainly used in the animal feed industry. PKE must be stored in accordance with DEFRA's Code of Practice for the control of Salmonella. It is also high in energy and fiber content and retains a high level of residual oil.
The Palm Kernel Expeller specifications are as follows:
- - Proficiency: 21-23%
- - Moisture: big 10-12%
- Fiber: 18% larger
RBD Palm Kernel Oil is freshly extracted, refined, bleached and deodorized authentic palm kernel oil. RBD palm kernel oil is used as a good liquid oil source for margarine and shortening, and is also used in the manufacture of soaps and detergents due to its high C12 content. Refined palm kernel oil can be supplied in bulk and in flexibags (containers).
RBD palm kernel oil specifications are as follows:
- -FFA is Palmitic: 0.1% higher
- - Moisture and Impurities (M&I) : greater than 0.1%
- - Iodine value (IV) : large 19
- - Color (5 1/4 Lovibond Cell) : Large 1.5 red
Palm kernel fatty acid distillate (also known as PKFAD) is produced in a refining process based on palm kernel oil. PKFAD is widely used in the grease chemical industry for the manufacture of soaps, detergents and shampoos.
Palm kernel fatty acid distillate specifications are as follows:
- -FFA is Palmitic: 50% lower
- - Moisture and Impurities (M&I) : greater than 1%
- -TFM: 95% lower
Crude palm kernel oil is produced from the seed/pit (pit) of the oil palm fruit. The main ingredient of CPKO is the lauric acid fatty acid, which is suitable for manufacturers of soaps, washing powders and personal care products.
Palm kernel crude oil specifications are as follows:
- -FFA is Palmitic: 5.0% higher
- - Moisture and Impurities (M&I) : up to 0.5%
- - Iodine value (IV) : large 19
