Scientific and technological achievements

General Technology Group has made every effort to make new breakthroughs in key core technologies. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, a total of 107 national science and technology projects/topics have been undertaken, providing a batch of technologies and equipment to fill the domestic gaps in national important industries and key fields. From 2020 to 2022, the Group undertakes 56 national project projects, including 5 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. It has won 2 National Science and technology awards and 88 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. There are a total of 3,584 valid patents, including 965 valid invention patents. Produced and revised 18 international standards, and more than 1,000 national and industry standards.

In the field of machine tools, "Key technologies and standard systems for monitoring and evaluation of complex CNC equipment" and "Key technologies and industrialization of high-performance CNC systems" won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress. The two international standards for machine tool numerical control system led by China are the first international standards in the field of machine tool numerical control system, and have realized the important transformation of China's "from 0 to 1" and "from 1 to N" in the field of standards. All seven scientific and technological achievements were successfully selected into the SASAC "Central Enterprise Science and Technology Innovation Achievements Recommended Directory (2022 edition)", of which four scientific and technological achievements such as "ultra-precision guide rail and static pressure bearing technology during construction period" were selected into the "key parts" field, and three scientific and technological achievements such as "strong vertical five-axis machining center" were selected into the "high-end equipment" field.

In the field of new materials, the world's first set of 100,000 tons/year high-quality stock solution colored polyester in situ continuous polymerization industrialization demonstration line has been built, which is an important way to achieve green and low-carbon manufacturing in the chemical fiber industry. With the first domestic technology and complete equipment independently designed and manufactured single-line 60,000 tons of new solvent cellulose fiber production line, with 90,000 tons of new solvent cellulose fiber production capacity, making China the world's second country with green fiber industrialization technology. High-tech materials flame-retardant Lyocell fiber 10,000-ton production line a success, Lyocell differentiated fiber product industrialization has made important progress. Led by 8 international textile standards and jointly drafted 1 international textile standard, increase the voice of China's international standards in the field of textiles, and play a positive role in promoting high-quality development of high quality standards.
