The "water-light-storage" integrated green energy system has been successfully applied

In order to help Shenzhen achieve the goal of "double carbon", Longgang Water Group, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Huanshui Group, a state-owned enterprise in Shenzhen, insists on the implementation of clean energy replacement, energy conservation and emission reduction and process carbon reduction transformation, leads green development with scientific and technological innovation, and constantly explores a new low-carbon and efficient operation model of urban people's livelihood water supply facilities. Recently, Longgang Water Group's first "water-light-storage" integrated green energy system was applied in Heao Water Plant, opening a new chapter in the development of urban water supply plants' energy self-production and self-use and green transformation.

As a key scientific and technological innovation project of Longgang Water Group, the "water-light-storage" integrated green energy system integrates green facilities such as low head power generation, solar photovoltaic power generation, and distributed energy storage to achieve self-production and utilization of clean energy, effectively reducing emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. At the same time, through the construction of intelligent cloud brain energy management system, the project will be self-produced clean energy and grid energy in a scientific and orderly manner, providing a new solution for the emergency security of water supply and power resources, greatly improving the risk response and safety control capabilities of urban water supply security, and boosting the construction of resilient and safe cities.

At present, the project has been applied in Heao water plant. The existing installed capacity of low head power generation is 55KW, and the power generation energy conversion efficiency reaches 86%-90%. The installed capacity of solar photovoltaic power generation is 18KW, and the energy conversion efficiency reaches 28%-30%. The energy conversion efficiency of distributed energy storage facilities reaches more than 90%. The system can generate 390,000 KWH of electricity per year, provide more than 22% of the annual electricity consumption of the water plant, save about 480,000 yuan in electricity bills, and reduce about 540 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

In the next stage, the "water-light-storage" integrated green energy system will be gradually promoted and applied in 18 water plants in Longgang District and Pingshan District, which can achieve a total installed capacity of solar photovoltaic power generation of 15MW, and a total installed capacity of low head power generation of 1980KW, which can reduce about 30,600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. With the successful application of the "water-light-storage" integrated green energy system as the starting point, Longgang Water Group will "go green", and successively launch intelligent factory-level laboratories, integrated water pump performance testing devices, tailwater safety reuse facilities, and intelligent plant stations with few people/unmanned saving, etc., with innovative measures of energy conservation and emission reduction, run out of the urban water supply field. Green and low-carbon transition "acceleration".
