Professor CAI Yi, Chief engineer of the National Beidou Foundation enhancement System, chief scientist of China North Industries Group Co., LTD., and director of the Expert Committee of the Beigao Remote Science and Technology Innovation Industry Alliance, pointed out in his keynote speech at the conference: At present, China's Beidou-3 system has achieved significant improvement in system functions, service accuracy, availability, continuity and other performance indicators, and its satellite positioning and navigation timing capability is comparable to or even surpassing the US GPS. The Beidou enhanced system is a high-precision digitalization and availability of absolute time and space, meeting the requirements of different industries for high-precision positioning, ultra-high precision positioning, real-time positioning, and so on, which will trigger a "location revolution".
CAI Yi said that Beidou is a combination of Beidou's high-precision positioning, high-resolution remote sensing image and high-definition holographic map, which has the characteristics of measurement, perception and control. He pointed out that the full-time and high-precision digital base jointly launched by Beigao and Chaoqing Technology is presented in the form of a holographic map. With the support of the data resource layer of the middle layer of wisdom, it provides services for the service layer, application layer and display layer, opening up the link between consumption and production, and realizing the integration and digitalization of consumption and production links. He believes that the current stage has entered the critical stage of actively promoting Beidou navigation and positioning. After the completion of the global network of Beidou III, the positioning of Beidou and the "Going out" strategy of the "Belt and Road" Initiative will be better aligned.
