Changchun, December 9 -- The first Jilin International Commodity Online Trading Fair (hereinafter referred to as "Jilin Fair") opened in Changchun on the 9th. Sun Guohua, deputy director of the Department of Commerce of Jilin Province, said that the province plans to build the fair into a new all-round opening platform for Jilin Province to "buy and sell globally".
Jilin Fair aims to deal with the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on Jilin's foreign trade and expand commodity import and export trade. This year's Kyrgyzstan Fair attracted more than 1,000 enterprises from more than 70 countries and regions to seek cooperation online, and Chinese and foreign enterprises signed online contracts on related projects on the same day.
The 22-day fair gathered more than 3,500 kinds of commodities in more than 20 categories, such as agricultural food, electronic instruments, industrial equipment, chemical energy, home improvement building materials, clothing and textile, daily necessities, leisure and entertainment.
In addition to the online exhibition, the fair has also set up a broadcast room for the promotion of enterprises, and organized investment activities in the field of foreign trade to introduce export-oriented enterprises, especially large production-oriented foreign trade enterprises, processing trade enterprises and trade promotion agencies to enter Jilin.
At the first Jilin International Commodity Cross-border Development Forum held in the same period, the chairman of the Federation of Far Eastern Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Stoubnitsky Boris Vladimirovich, said that he was optimistic about the role of the Kyrgyzstan Fair in consolidating the results of cooperation between the two sides, which will further expand the scale of bilateral trade.
