  • Origin of geographical names
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, on the north side of the ancient road from Chaoyangmen to Tongzhou, there were three families, Dong, Bai and Zhang, and their handmade workshops gradually flourished and formed a market, known as "three home Fang" and later named three rooms. It got its name from the town government's residence here. [4]
