Ganshi Star Classic is an ancient Chinese astronomical monograph and observation record. On the basis of long-term observation of the sky, during the Warring States period, Gan De of Qi (said to be Chu or Lu) and Shi Shen of Wei (a Shi Shenfu) each wrote a work on astronomy. Later generations put these two works together, called "Gan Shi Xing Jing". They observed the movement of the five planets, gold, wood, water, fire and earth, and found the law of the occurrence of these five planets.

There is obvious evidence: first, the five or six hundred word quotations from the Later Han Book to the original book are absent from the Ganshi Star Classic; Second, many place names in "Ganshi Star Classic" are only after the Warring States period, such as "Song Zhou" was established in the sixteenth year of Sui Kai Emperor (596).

It is said that Gander is from Chu. There is no dispute that Shi Shen was from Wei. However, his name has two versions of Shi Shen and Shi Shenfu, which was confirmed as Shi Shenfu by later generations. Gan De and Shi Shenfu have mentioned the Zhao-Yan War and the Lu-Chu War in the book, according to which it can be inferred that Gan and Shi's works are roughly in the era
