In April 2007, Chen returned to the national team to resume training after a five-month break to prepare for the Beijing Olympic Games.
In April 2008, in the National championships and Olympic Trials, Chen Yanqing won the gold medal with a total score of 245 kg. It was officially selected in July

In June 2000, she served as assistant coach of Jiangsu Women's Weightlifting Team and deputy director of Suzhou Sports Professional Sports Team Management Center.
In February 2007, he was appointed deputy director of Suzhou Sports Bureau and member of the Party Group.
In June 2012, he served as deputy director of the Sports Bureau of Suzhou, member of the Party Group, and deputy director of the Culture, Education, Health and Sports Committee of Suzhou CPPCC.
In December 2020, he served as deputy director of Suzhou Sports Bureau, member of the Party Group and third-level researcher.

Chen Yanqing was born into a family of fruit farmers in Xishan Town, Suzhou. She is the youngest child in her family and has two older sisters
