In the news front, Shi Mingshen with keen observation, in-depth analysis, smooth and accurate writing to trace the economic reform, especially the financial reform through the step by step ups and downs, collision after collision, one change after another, one achievement, and a lot of exploration in news writing.

Zhu Rongji
Comrades have also repeatedly praised her reports on financial and foreign exchange reform.
Shi Mingshen is one of the few academic and expert journalists in the press, and enjoys a high reputation in the press. She is particularly good at writing in-depth reports on finance and macroeconomics, and is good at reporting complex economic issues in a simple way. Its report has a strong ideological, authoritative and advanced. Governor of the central bank
Li Guixian
and
Dai Xianglong
President of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China
Zhang Xiao
Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission
Liu Hongru
and
Zhou Zhengqing
And other financial leaders and experts have a high evaluation of Shi Mingshen and his works.
He was governor of the People's Bank of China
Dai Xianglong
He fully affirmed Shi Mingshen's articles, saying: "Reading Shi Mingshen's reports, one outstanding feeling is that she is good at catching the problems of general concern to the public from complex financial phenomena, and can introduce financial policies and financial knowledge to readers in simple terms." Her reports are extensive in content, reflecting the financial policies, hot spots and difficulties in different periods of financial reform and development, and have a certain depth, reflecting the author's hard, rigorous and responsible work style. The development of the financial industry cannot be without the correct supervision of the press and the direction of public opinion. I hope Comrade Shi Mingshen can write more and better works and make greater contributions to improving the financial awareness and financial knowledge of the public."
People often use "ten years to sharpen a sword" to describe the difficulty of achieving a career. For journalists, it is especially difficult to grind into a "sword" for a period of ten years. This is determined by the particularity of journalism. In the news work, engaged in economic reports and can make outstanding achievements, more difficult. As for those who specialize in financial reporting in economic reporting and can get married, they should add another "more" before the "more" word. This is because financial reporting is more professional, more policy-oriented, and less readable, and the general news workers regard it as the most difficult to chew the "hard bone". In the news team, it is rare to chew this "hard bone" for more than ten years, and indeed "chew" results.
Because of this, when I finished reading Comrade Shi Mingshen's book
Extraordinary Decade: The Search for economic and financial reform
"Was really blown away. It is hard for me to imagine what kind of price a young female journalist, who has been persistently trekking on such a difficult road in the ten years she has been engaged in journalism, has paid for it!
When I moved to People's Daily from the Economic Daily more than three years ago, I was told that Shi Mingshen was a "real insider" when it came to financial reporting. At the time, I was a little confused, because journalists tend to be less than flattering about people. Later, at various meetings, I heard the leaders and experts of the Ministry of Finance, the State Administration of Taxation, and the People's Bank of China speak the same words, and I thought that Shi Mingshen's financial reports "not only do not speak laymen, but also inspire people inside", especially Premier Zhu Rongji praised her reports on financial and foreign exchange reform many times, so I had to look at this young woman with new eyes. I know that the eye of experts is critical and the praise is stingy, especially for journalists. Therefore, I began to follow Shi Mingshen's tracks on the road of journalism work, until last summer, the People's Daily specially held a seminar for her news works, and finally basically completed the understanding of her character, knowledge, talent and spirit.
For many years, I have advocated the cultivation of "research-oriented" journalists. Because for decades, I've heard enough of the social criticism of economic reports that "laymen don't understand them and insiders don't look at them." But this is the harsh reality. The journalist's strength is sensitivity, but his weakness is superficiality. There are far too few journalists these days who are able to devote themselves to the big questions in a particular field, especially economics. Especially since the reform and opening up and the implementation of the socialist market economy system, I am afraid that very few people have been able to put forward thoughtful insights on various new problems arising under the new situation. I don't think that means "hitting a whole swathe." The fundamental reason is that the research needs to pay the price, and the scientist spirit of Chen Jingrun is needed - outside does not admire Fenghua, and inside tolerates loneliness. And in the social mentality of the general impetuous, tendency to the situation, to achieve this, how difficult! The reason why Shi Mingshen can make such achievements in ten years is that she is not afraid of difficulties, not afraid of ridicule, not afraid of neglect, and has been walking the road she thinks she should walk and is happy to walk.
Time is fair to everyone. Ten years, it's easy to slip away. From relying on "the coming days are long" to lamenting "the last day is bitter", there is no obvious dividing line between them. The question is how the master of time will manage it. The first ten years of Shi Mingshen's journalism career were extraordinary, but what about the last ten or twenty years? People are watching with greater expectations.

He was president of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China
Zhang Xiao
"Reading Comrade Shi Mingshen's article has two most profound impressions. First, she has a thorough understanding of financial issues, which shows that she has done a lot of research and conducted painstaking and detailed interviews. Many of her articles truly reflect the problems and difficulties of the financial industry, and offer good insights that make for compelling reading. Second, Comrade Shi Mingshen is responsible for contacting the financial sector, but many of her articles can comment on economic and financial phenomena from the perspective of the country and from the overall situation, rather than simply speaking for which industry or which bank. It is commendable for a journalist to be objective, fair and realistic in his reporting."
[3]
He was deputy editor-in-chief of the People's Daily
Zhou Ruijin
"Comrade Shi Mingshen's works have four characteristics: specialization, focusing on reflecting the reform trend and new affairs in the financial field; Macro, from the overall and macro perspective, timely report on financial phenomena, policies, regulations, etc., and explain their own views; Pertinence, can give answers to questions that readers care about but are not very clear about; Accuracy, grasp the policy is more measured."
[3]
He was editor-in-chief of the Economic Daily
Eyfon
"I became the director of the Economic Department of the People's Daily in 1986, and Comrade Shi Mingshen precisely entered the Economic Ministry in that year, and I left the People's Daily in 1996 and worked with her for almost ten years." In ten years, she has made one of the most significant ideological and operational progress among my colleagues in the Economic Department. Her most prominent characteristics are practical, diligent, open-minded, and she has a spirit of perseverance. Some of the reports she wrote had a great impact on the society, and some of them were praised by the central leading comrades. In financial circles, her fame began to rise. I use her as my financial adviser within the Ministry of Economy."
[3]
Chen Yingguang, the first president of the Zhejiang Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China
In a poem with Shi Mingshen, a reporter from the People's Daily, he wrote:
Fast today, the sky Ququ, the river to the south and the lake to the north.
Cloud roll floss mountain far cut, dike drag willow horizontal spread.
Shoot tide at his own expense a thousand arrows, riding crane who left a bead.
A total view of the scenery heart has been open, the ancient capital style to wait for the book.
[38]
He Xiaoping, head office of China Construction Bank
In the article "Sharpening a Sword in Ten Years" (China Construction Bank Newspaper, September 11, 1997) wrote:
Shi Mingshen is known as a "real expert" in the economic and financial fields, and has won a good reputation for "not only not talking about laymen, but also inspiring internal pedestrians." "Extraordinary Decade - The Search for Economic and Financial Reform" not only reviews the ten years of economic and financial reform, but also shows the author's skills as a "scholar" journalist.
The book contains more than 100 economic reports by the author from 1986 to 1996. As far as the genre is concerned, there are interviews, reviews, communications, comments, the writing is smooth and popular, simple and natural, skilled writing skills and solid economic knowledge are perfect, complement each other; In terms of content, involving finance, insurance, tax, law, securities, prices and other aspects of the economic field, will be different colors of thousands of economic weather presented in front of readers. Among them, there are many excellent chapters such as "The breakthrough to invigorate large and medium-sized enterprises", "Insurance: The choice of thousands of households", "the development and expansion of commercial banks", "Hong Kong Financial Industry: What will Happen Tomorrow" and so on, which have caused great repercussions in society and have been praised by central leaders.
Savor Shi Mingshen's words, there is really no feeling of being outside, not so much that you are reading, but she is talking with you, and the beginning of the conversation is often a small and trivial matter around. From "Beijing people complain about no beer to drink" to the article "Beer Problem" caused by the imbalance of production and consumption; From "Neighbor Shen's 5000 yuan to buy stocks how to earn 100,000 yuan" to the calm analysis of investment in the stock market "Do a rational investor"... Her talk is like a trickle of water, gentle and kind, with the deepening of the analysis of the problem, the widening of the river, melt into the economic sea of a millet, people feel suddenly enlightened, mind relieved.
In particular, it is worth mentioning that the article has changed the dull face of piling economic and financial terms in the past, and the words are lively and vivid, which adds a lot of color to the book. In the discussion of the financial reform of the national professional banks to state-owned commercial banks, the author compares the bank attached to the finance as a "teller", compares the bank that eats the big pot rice as a "rag" that can not absorb water and can not squeeze out water, and compares the bank we need as a "sponge body", which can absorb water, and when it is squeezed out, it has a telescopical and regulating effect. The vivid metaphor will depict the truth in the wood, vivid, and retain the wash of a proper and lifelike.
Shi Mingshen's article is atmospheric, and this atmosphere is first of all its skilled business knowledge, which gives her a calm and comfortable interview. Secondly, bearing the background of the national economy and government decision-making, it stands in a forward-looking and overall macro-perspective when grabbing hot spots, focus and difficult issues, aiming its pen at the entire economic market and the financial industry, rather than a large bank or large enterprise, let alone reporting good news and bad news, always giving objective and notarial reports, and grasping the policy very well. In the article "Thinking about Financial Problems (I) - The Bank that is a good Bank", she dared to expose the phenomenon of vague functions, weak macro-control, unclear status, and misplaced leverage of the central bank, and mercilessly went to the pain and hit the spot. Such articles must be true, powerful, natural and continuous.

Be careful when you are there
Journalist's Day
He said, "Journalism is what I love. Being named the national excellent journalist is not only an honor for me, but also an incentive and spur. I am well aware that I am far from the requirements of the Party and the people, and I will take this as a new starting point for my predecessors in the press who have made outstanding contributions to the Party's press cause and my colleagues who are working as role models to further fulfill their duties as journalists and strive for new breakthroughs."

On September 3, 2008,
Coca-Cola
Announced plans to buy China for cash
Huiyuan Juice
Group Limited company. Huiyuan boss
Zhu Xinli
The "pig theory" caused a lot of doubt among netizens. March 18, 2009
Commerce Department
Declare according to
China's anti-monopoly law
Coca-Cola was banned from buying Huiyuan. This is the first anti-monopoly law since the implementation of August 1, 2008, failed to pass the case. According to...
China Youth Daily
"And"
Securities Times
Shi Mingshen expressed his views and opinions on the case. Shi Mingshen pointed out: "Coca-Cola's acquisition of Huiyuan was rejected by the Ministry of Commerce in accordance with the Anti-Monopoly Law, such a result is in line with the majority of Internet users' opinions, but it seems that it should not be regarded as a victory of network public opinion, but should be regarded as a progress of the rule of law." Although mergers and acquisitions have become the norm in world economic activity, the Chinese public does not seem to be used to them. Especially when foreign mergers and acquisitions occur in China, we can often hear the voice of defending national brands and protecting national economic security. Fortunately, government authorities are not swayed by online sentiment and are focused on protecting fair competition and consumer rights, which are at the heart of China's anti-monopoly law. The case of Coca-Cola's acquisition of Huiyuan Juice is the first case that has been rejected since the implementation of the anti-monopoly law in China. It gives us at least three inspirations: market economy is an economy governed by law, and government supervision must be within the legal norms; The market economy is an open economy, which often involves each other and each of us has you. Indulging in xenophobia may not lead to the right direction; To deal with social hot spots, government departments should understand people's feelings, respect public opinion, publicize policies, clarify misunderstandings and publicize progress."
