The People's Public Security University of China is located in Beijing, [11] The registered address is No. 1, Muxidi South Li, Xicheng District, Beijing. The People's Public Security University of China was founded in 1948, formerly known as the North China Security Cadre Training Course. Predecessor traceability

  • People's Public Security University of China
The People's Public Security University of China was founded in July 1948 as the North China Security Cadre Training Course held by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Jianping County, Hebei Liberated Area. [11] In January 1949, approved by the North China Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, it was expanded into North China Public Security Cadre School. In February, he moved to Beiping and successively ran schools in Wangjia Hutong, Fangjia Hutong and Baiyun Guan. On January 11, 1950, the Government Administration Council approved its name change to the Central Public Security Cadre School, and in October 1952 it moved to a new location in Muxidi. In January 1953, it was expanded into the Central People's Public Security Academy, and the training object was changed from the training of new police in the initial period to the training of on-the-job leading cadres. [12 ] 1984 The Central People's Public Security College was transformed into a full-time college and established as the Chinese People's Public Security University. [11]

In October 1977, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security decided to prepare for the restoration of the Central School for Political and Legal Cadres, and after the restoration of the Ministry of Justice in 1979, it was subordinated to the Ministry of Justice. In June 1978, the Party Group of the Ministry of Public Security decided to establish a junior college of Political Science and Law on the basis of the junior college class of the Central Administrative School of Political Science and Law. In 1979, the school changed its name to the College of International Politics and was upgraded to an undergraduate university. On May 18, 1984, with the approval of The State Council, the Institute of International Politics was renamed the People's Police University of China. The school went from secrecy to openness. [12 ]

Teaching staff

In August 2023, the "Social Security Risk Prevention and control teacher team" led by Professor Huo Hongtao was successfully selected into the shortlist of the third batch of "National Universities, Huang University Annual Teacher Team" to create demonstration activities, and the "Criminology undergraduate education team" was awarded the excellent undergraduate education team of Beijing universities in 2023. Cooperation and exchange

As of May 8, 2024, the People's Public Security University of China has conducted cooperation and exchanges with police education and training institutions in more than 60 countries and regions in the fields of personnel training, scientific research, and expert lectures. Since 2009, the school has held an "International Police Forum" every year, and in 2018, jointly with 30 police academies from 22 countries and regions along the "Belt and Road", established the "International Police Education Cooperation Forum", which is the first chairman unit and permanent secretariat unit of the forum.
