Mino and paper
In 1985, it was recognized as a traditional handicraft by the Japanese Ministry of Trade and Industry (METI).
Gifu and umbrella: The umbrella cloth uses Mino and paper, using a large number of natural materials, through the hands of more than a dozen skilled workers, it takes several months to produce, there are more than 100 processes, it is particularly complex.
Gifu Lantern: A hanging lantern with thin paper such as Mino and paper held apart by thin bones, usually in the shape of a long egg. It is said to have been created between 1596 and 1615 (during the Qing Chang years) and 1650 (during the Qing An three years) as an offering to the Omi Chang Dynasty.

Hand Fire Festival: The celebration takes place on April 10, after midnight, the 20-meter-high "waterfall Firecracker" is lit in the Handio Shrine. For a moment, firecrackers burst into a loud noise and sparks poured out. Naked men danced and shouted as they carried the koyoshi on the top, which emitted flames like a fountain.
Takayama Festival is one of the three famous beauty festivals in Japan. It consists of the Mountain King Festival in spring and the Hachiman Festival in autumn. The King of the Mountain Festival (April 14 and 15), carrying 12 ornate terraces, toured the city together. On three of them, a marionette stunt was performed. The Hachiman Festival (October 9 and 10), which dates from the late 16th and 17th centuries, offers spectacular lion dances, splendid lanterns, and artisan skills.
Furukawa Festival: The festival takes place on April 19 and 20. In Furukawa Festival, the "carrying Taiko" festival, one of the three major nude festivals in Japan, is a spectacular procession.
Korigami Dance: It is one of the three major folk dances in Japan (the other two being "Hanasa dance" in Yamagata Prefecture and "Apo dance" in Tokushima Prefecture), and anyone can join the dance circle at will. For 32 consecutive nights, from early July to early September, 10 kinds of dances are performed throughout Yawata.
Gifu Nobunaga Festival: On the first Saturday and Sunday of October every year, Gifu City commemorates the achievements and legacy of General Oda Nobunaga, and it is held at Oda Nobunaga's home temple, Chongfuji. Main events: Memorial Letter ceremony, Music Parade (Saturday); Nobunaga Riding samurai Procession, three rounds of artefact shooting, music parade, Civic Freedom Carnival (Sunday).

Nagaragawa pelican feed
The so-called "pelican feeding" means "osprey fishing". Utsu River forty-eight waterfall
Located in Gifu Prefecture, the Utsu River River is composed of 48 waterfalls, large and small, including the mighty King Waterfall and the cool upper section waterfall. The waterfall is surrounded by Gifu Prefecture's Prefectural Nature Park, where visitors can set up tents or soak in hot springs.
