CCC Self-Declaration Product Declaration Guidelines

In October 2019, the General Administration of Market Supervision issued the Announcement on Adjusting and Improving the Mandatory Product Certification Catalogue and Implementation Requirements (No. 44 of 2019), and the announcement adjusted some products in the mandatory product certification catalogue from the CCC certification method to the self-declaration evaluation method. According to the regulations, from January 1, 2020, the above products applicable to self-declared evaluation methods will no longer be issued CCC certificates; Before October 31, 2020, enterprises that still hold CCC certificates should implement the requirements to complete the conversion according to the above self-declaration evaluation method, and handle the corresponding CCC certificate cancellation procedures in a timely manner.

In December 2019, the CNCA issued the "Announcement on Further Improving the Evaluation Method of Mandatory Product Certification Self-Declaration and Clarifying Relevant Implementation Requirements" (No. 26 of 2019), adding the implementation method of CCC self-declaration evaluation based on the results of voluntary product certification.
