technical manual(TM)
TM information can be provided in a variety of formats, including (but not limited to) hard copy, sound and video display devices, magnetic tape, disks, and other electronic devices. The technical manual shall normally include technical information or procedures in addition TO instructions for use and service, a list or breakdown of components, and the relevant administrative procedures Technical Instruction (TO). Technical instructions that meet this definition shall also be included in TM. (Defense Acquisition Terms -98)
