The stadium can accommodate 27,500 spectators, and temporary stands will be built during the opening and closing ceremonies, which can accommodate up to 35,000 spectators. The Stadio Olimpico is the renovated former Munnar Stadium, which was built in the 1930s and was once used by the Serie A team Torino and Juventus It was used as the team's home stadium until the late 1980s.
