When potplayer plays a video and wants to extract the audio file separately, how do you extract the sound? Let's take a look at potplayer's ability to save sounds individually

Sometimes, because of some needs, we will extract part of the audio in the video for backup, so the following Xiaobian will share the method of using potplayer to extract the audio file in the video, let's take a look

Method 1:

First open the video file you want to extract the audio from in "PotPlayer".

Then click "right", select "Sound" from the options that pop up, click "Audio track", and click "Sound Recording".

Then in the pop-up recording audio interface, you can perform some Settings on the recorded audio, such as the location of the recorded audio.

Once the Settings are complete, click "Start" and start playing the video at the same time.

When you finish recording, click "Stop".

You can also click on the "Automatically record when playback starts" option, and then click the Start button to record.

After the recording is completed, we can right-click the page and select the option [Sound] - [Audio track] - [Open Audio recording archive folder] to view the recorded audio file.

Method 2:

After opening the video file, you can pause or close the movie so that you can record it later. Then right-click on the main window → "Audio" → "Audio Recording" → "Audio Recording", or use "Shift+G" to open it

Then in the "Voice Recording" window, set the location of the sound file and what format to save the sound file, usually my habit is to save as MP3, and finally suggest to check "Automatic recording when playback starts", if checked, it means that the film will be recorded when playing.

Next is to play the movie, PotPlayer will automatically start to transcribe the sound, don't worry when recording, other sound outside the movie will not be recorded in, it will only record the movie sound, if you don't want to affect others, plug in the headset to record it, after the movie is finished, it will automatically stop recording.

KMPlayer's approach is much the same, using the right mouse button → "Capture" → "Audio: Capture".

Then set the same sound format, this screen is similar to PotPlayer, according to your needs can be set.

This is how potplayer extracts audio, I hope you like it, please stay tuned to Script home.
