On 9 March 1908, Inter Milan Football Club was founded. At that time, Italian and Swiss players in the Milan Cricket and Football Club (the predecessor of AC Milan) were so angry with the excessive Anglicisation and snobbery of the team that they left and formed their own football club Inter Milan, hence the meaning of the word "Inter". In fact, Inter's first captain was Swiss Hernst Manktl. The club colours are gold, black and blue.
In 1910, in the second year of Inter's foundation, the team won the league title, which was Inter's first league title.
In 1928, at the behest of the fascist authorities, Inter Milan merged U.S.anese (Milanese) into Inter Milan and changed its name to "Ambrosiana". The word Ambrosiana is of religious origin, meaning
Benito Mussolini
My favorite. The name Ambrosiana was originally the name of the Genaya team, which was changed to "GENOVA" (derived from the name of a port in Genaya, meaning the people of Genaya).

In 1947, the hero Giuseppe Meacha ended his career at Inter Milan, having played 408 games for the club and scored 287 goals. Meacha died in 1979 and a year later the stadium was named after him.
In 1953, after a 13-year absence from the championship, Inter Milan coach Alfredo Voni and the star
Benito Lorenzi
Led by Skergren, Wilkes and Niels, they won the championship.
In 1961, in the 28th round of Serie A, the top two Inter Milan and Juventus met, the two sides had the same points before the game, the game had to be interrupted shortly after the start of the game due to the disturbance of Juventus home fans, after the Italian Football Association decided that the two teams replay, in the final round of the game, because the Inter Milan and Juventus points gap has reached 4 points, This rendered the rematch itself meaningless, so the unwilling Inter sent in the youth team, which eventually led to a 9-1 defeat, which was Inter's worst ever defeat.
In 1963, Inter Milan was the owner of the team
Angelo Moratti
Under the direct leadership of the beginning of the glorious era, the team's development entered a golden period. He won three Serie A titles in 1963, 1964 and 1966, the last of which earned Inter a 10th league title and a gold star on his shirt. In addition, the team also won two times
Uefa Club Cup

Real Madrid Football Club
He defeated Portugal in 1965

) and twice
Continental Cup
Championship (1964 and 1965, both victories over Argentina

The SAN Siro Stadium (Meacha Stadium) was built on August 1, 1925 and completed on September 15, 1926. The building, which can accommodate 35,000 spectators, was completed in just one year. The project cost 5 million lire and was funded by AC Milan President Piero Pirelli. The first match played at the SAN Siro Stadium was the Milan Derby on 19 September 1926, in which Inter defeated AC Milan 6-3. In 1935, AC Milan sold the stadium to the local government, which built a second tier of stands and increased the capacity to 60,000. Lighting was added in 1957 for night games, and the electronic scoreboard was installed a decade later. In 1980, the "Temple of football" was officially named after Giuseppe Meazza in honor of the former Inter Milan and Italy national team legend.
The most recent renovation of the stadium was in 1990, when the stand was increased to three storeys in time for the 1990 World Cup in Italy, increasing the total capacity to 800,065. Each level of the stand is divided into four zones, marked by four different colors, the rectangular stand is orange and red, and the corner is green and blue. The only exception is the very top of the third floor, where there is no orange zone. Since the 2002/03 season, the stadium has been divided into four zones, North West, South East.
[33]
On 30 March 2021, Inter Milan unveiled its new logo, which will be in use for the 2021-22 season. The new team emblem still maintains the traditional blue and black color scheme, compared with the previous generation of team emblem, the new team emblem is more concise overall, removing the original letters "F and C", only retaining the letters "I and M". This new logo is presented with a more concise and streamlined appearance, which is the designer's interpretation of the historical symbols of the club, while retaining the basic elements of the original logo, more in line with the needs of the era of mass entertainment.
[34]
Home jersey
The 2023-24 season home shirt color still uses Inter's classic blue + black, the line is to break the tradition, using a new irregular pattern design. The pants are all black, the socks have a blue and black check design, and the team emblem and equipment brand logo are yellow.
[35]
|
|
Away kit
The away kit for the 2022-23 season uses white as the main tone, enriching its design with light green world map elements. The "Internazionale" element on the inside of the collar expresses a spirit of tolerance and openness to the whole world. The club crest, which matches the colours of the shirt, is placed above the city of Milan on the map, underlining Inter's inextricable connection to the city.
[36]
|
|
Second away kit
The second away shirt for the 2022-23 season is the 11th time in Inter's history that the yellow jersey has been used. The shirt reflects the city's DNA: the words "Milano" are inscribed on the inside of the collar, while the blue and black trim sets off the shirt's yellow color.
