The new exhibition center was designed by the famous design master FUKSAS, with a unique shape and aluminum alloy and glass as the main materials for the external structure. The exhibition center, with a total investment of 750 million euros and an area of about 2 million square meters, took two and a half years to complete and was inaugurated on March 31, 2005.
The exhibition area of the new Milan International Exhibition Center is 405,000 square meters, of which the indoor exhibition area is 345,000 square meters and the outdoor exhibition area is 60,000 square meters. The exhibition center has a total of 8 large exhibition halls, which are divided into 20 exhibition areas, each exhibition area has supporting facilities such as reception, catering, conference, etc., and can hold exhibitions independently.
