On April 22, 2015, Huang Zitao's father unilaterally announced through Weibo that the contract with South Korea's SM company would not be continued, after which Huang Zitao went to the United States for treatment of his foot injury. During the recuperation period in the United States, Huang Zitao did not forget to study music and further study, and also actively invested in high-intensity practice after returning to China. The album style is mainly EDM, HIP-HOP and POP. In the album, Huang Zitao fully implemented his many years of RAP experience and carefully created his own unique style, inviting DJ Unlike Pluto, Taylor Parks and many other musicians to act as producers and composers, aiming to bring C-POP into the international music market

. As Huang Zitao's first album, Huang Zitao personally participated in the lyrics and RAP creation of each song, and in order to make the album more influential, Huang Zitao chose to cooperate with QQ Music

The album concept video, directed by Nick Lentz, recorded Huang Zitao's process from falling into the sea to going ashore alone, implying that Huang Zitao gained a "new life" after flying solo, Huang Zitao also specially put a special "code" of gratitude to fans in the video.

Two R&B songs, "One Heart" and "Yesterday", present Huang Zitao who has gone from "Rap to rap".
