Following the lifting of restrictions, TVB moved RTHK programmes out of prime time in the new quarter of September 2016, and cancelled the live broadcast of City Forum at the same time.
With effect from 4 March 2020, the Communications Authority has decided to revoke with immediate effect the directive on TVB to broadcast RTHK programmes, with particular reference to the cancellation of the broadcast of RTHK programmes on Jade Channel from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM from Monday to Friday
