Zengcheng College, South China Normal University
On June 8, 1996, the Department of Higher Education of Guangdong Province proposed to cooperate with Zengcheng People's Government and South China Normal University to organize Zengcheng College of South China Normal University.
In September 1997, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Higher Education approved the establishment of Zengcheng College by South China Normal University. On December 18, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Zengcheng College of South China Normal University was held in Kangda High-tech Industrial Zone.
In May 1998, Guangzhou Kangda Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with South China Normal University to establish "Zengcheng College of South China Normal University". The Zengcheng People's Government withdrew from the cooperation because it failed to implement the agreement.
In September 1999, the college completed the first batch of enrollment tasks, enrolling 850 junior college students. It offers 8 specialized programs.
In 2002, the college began to admit undergraduate students. In December, it began to recognize some course credits with the Sino-Australian International Accounting Institute on a trial basis.
