On September 10, 2009, the channel was officially launched, with the launch of "The Wind Comes from the East" - CCTV Russian International Channel launch concert. [1] The logo was originally " Cctv-r ", later changed to double line "CCTV" plus scoop type plus "budu", "cum-occlusal" Russian words. On the afternoon of May 31, 2010, the platform marker was adjusted and the spoon marker became smaller.
On April 18, 2014, the channel moved to the new location of the CCTV studio to broadcast the revised version, the broadcast ratio was changed to 16:9 horizontal compression 4:3.
On April 1, 2015, the channel markers were compressed horizontally to accommodate the 16:9 format.
