After the Yanan Xinhua Radio Station was evacuated from Yan 'an and Wayaopu (now Zichang County) in northern Shaanxi Province, it changed its name from March 21, 1947. Since then, although the station moved to Shexian County and Pingshan County in Hebei Province, the station name was not changed to confuse the enemy and show the audience that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was still sticking to northern Shaanxi. On March 25, 1949, the station was renamed after it moved to Beiping Peiping Xinhua Radio Station . [1]

Due to the retransmission of other radio stations in the liberated areas, Yan 'an (Northern Shaanxi) Radio has a wide audience at home and abroad, and enjoys a high reputation. On March 25, 1949, the northern Shaanxi Province moved to Beiping and was renamed Peiping Xinhua Radio Station It began to take on the nature of CCTV. In May of the same year, the Central Broadcasting Administration was established, and the station was separated from the Xinhua News Agency and placed under the leadership of the Administration. On September 1 of the same year, it was renamed Beijing Xinhua Radio First, and on September 27, it was renamed Beijing Xinhua Radio First, and on December 5, it was named Beijing Xinhua Radio First China National Radio .
