Tan Weiwei has been seeking new breakthroughs since the formation of Yuanda's excellent entertainment culture. Following the successful collaboration with Wang Feng in his last album "Tan XX", Tan Weiwei conceived the idea of producing a pure rock album. It was just when Wang Feng signed an official contract with Beijing Fenghua Qiusi Culture Media, and Tan Weiwei's Far Reach Excellence and Fenghua Qiusi reached a cooperation, so there was this completely rock album "3".
In this album, Tan Weiwei tries her first creative work. Except for one song
Gao Xiaosong
In addition to the lyrics, the lyrics of the remaining eight songs and the lyrics of four songs are composed by Tan Weiwei herself, which is her true original album.

Tan Weiwei has always liked British rock, which she finds more subtle and warm. So "3" went to London, England for recording production, and refined the concept of "rock" into the category of British rock. To find the right producer, her company turned to Karolinda Booth, a Universal Music label artist and music consultant based in Beijing. This time, Tan worked with DANTON Sapper, who has worked with British rock band Coldplay, Jason Boshoff, who has worked with veteran singer Phil Collins, and producer Max Heyes. In order to maintain the retro rock style of the music, Danton insisted on using the manual recording booth that has recorded for Oasis and U2.

The third title track

This album, named after the number "3", is an inventive album with a strong British rock flavor. The production consciousness of this album presents a strong aura from beginning to end. Tan Weiwei himself participated in eight works from lyrics to songs, which can also be seen that she used her heart to make better and more detailed music that belongs to her own personality. At the same time timely embellishment into

Such a very different style but quite suitable for the creator of this record.
On the production side, the British team of Danton Supple from Coldplay and Jason Boshoff, who collaborated with Phil Collins, set the tone of the album's British retro rock and made sure it fell into place step by step. Closely coordinated by British producers, this album with the concept of "British rock" is different from many rock albums released and produced under the banner of British rock. From the singing, the composition and the arrangement, "3" is a natural work.

"3" rock elements in different ways throughout the album, to achieve the album in the overall musical style, temperament of the consistency, the way of expression is more bold than the previous album, more depth. The overall audibility of the album is strong, the music is rich, and each song is not confined to a single way in the arrangement, and strives to do each song has its own characteristics and personality. In addition to continuing the personality and driving force of the logo in the last album, Tan Weiwei more aggressively vented his own personality and emotions.

The main theme of 3 is "the free expression of self", and around this theme, the album moves from folk music to rock music. At the same time, Tan Weiwei also tried to add more electronic, dance music in the album. As...

The arrangement resembles Coldplay's"
Viva La Vida
", also known as Britpop's electric rock skeleton; Gao Xiaosong's "Dust" mixes classical European romantic electric sound with rock and roll, and Tan Weiwei shows a dark quality under the acoustic guitar and heavy electronic beat. "Sleep Baby" is more Downtempo.

In the album, in addition to a pure British atmosphere because of the production in the UK, Tan Weiwei put in his own creation of that delicate and sensitive emotions, which is missing in many rock works of this type. For example, in the opening work "What happened to Me", which is about the tangled mood of love and missing, Tan Weiwei compares the "moth to the fire" as the kind of love that is difficult to achieve, and cleverly stretches out the pain of the love that is wanted and cannot be. With the same longing emotion"
imagine
", compared with the former to bring out the melancholy is much lighter, in the slow melody Tan Weiwei slowly tell which about a person's mood. Gao Xiaosong's"
dust
In addition to the poetry emanating from the lyrics, Tan Weiwei's slightly neurotic interpretation is also an impressive one. Tan Weiwei is responsible for the creation of "Sleep baby", in the melody mixed with a bit of electronic atmosphere, her singing with loneliness and tenderness can be said to make this belongs to her sensibility more than a different color.
