On March 1, 1993, CCTV-1 was named News, General Affairs and Current Affairs Channel, and began broadcasting 21:00 "The Hour News".
On April 3, 1995, CCTV-1 changed its name from News, general Affairs and Current Affairs Channel to News, general Affairs Channel, and the studio of "The Hour News" changed. On July 1 of the same year, the "Hour News" changed the title, the title style was changed by the grid, the opening music has not changed.
On August 5, 1998, "The Hour News" moved to the old CCTV Studio 229.
On July 5, 1999, "The Hour News" was discontinued at 21:00 and "Broadcast Now" was launched, airing daily at 21:00 on CCTV-1 (20 minutes from Monday to Friday, 10 minutes on Saturday and Sunday).
On May 1, 2003, with the launch of the News channel, the original CCTV-1 "Broadcast Now" at 21:00 every night was discontinued, and the News channel began broadcasting a new program "Today" at 21:00 every night on the News channel (30 minutes from Monday to Friday, 10 minutes on Saturday and Sunday).
On March 1, 2005, the broadcast time of Today was moved up to 20:00 every night on the news channel (Monday to Friday and Saturday to Sunday), as the rebroadcast time of the News channel was moved up to 21:00.
On June 5, 2006, with the third revision of the News channel, the original "Today" program, which was broadcast at 20:00 every evening, was discontinued, and the new program "360 Degrees" was launched on the news channel from Monday to Friday at 20:00. [2] From Saturday to Sunday, "Today" was replaced with the "News on the Hour" at 20.
On March 24, 2008, 360 Degrees officially went off the air due to a change in programming on the news channel.
