World Cultural Heritage is one of the most important
The United Nations
The establishment of international conventions initiated and enforced by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization for the purpose of preserving natural or cultural sites of outstanding universal value to mankind throughout the world.
World cultural Heritage belongs to the category of World Heritage, which is the highest level of cultural protection and inheritance.
Non-governmental organizations, such as the International Commission on Cultural Monuments and Historic Places, participate in the selection, management and conservation of World Heritage sites as UNESCO's cooperative organizations.
